How do fees work on Artyah?

There is a nominal fee of $0.10 to list an item on Artyah.*

Items that are imported are also charged $0.10 upon import
​and the item is stored in the seller's account scheduled folder.
An imported item that then becomes active is not charged again.

A listing has a duration for up to 120 days or if the items should sell.
Once an item sells, there is a 3.5% final sales transaction fee on the sale price (not including shipping costs).

Invoices are emailed on the 31st of every month to all account that have a balance of $1.00 or more
​Invoices are to be paid when presented.
​ArtYah will give a grace period to pay the invoice up to 10 days.
​After the 10th day of the month, if an account balance is not cleared, the account will become deactivated and the
​seller will not be able to list or sell items on ArtYah until the balance is cleared.

If an account remains unpaid after the 5th day of the month, a letter is sent out via email
​to the recipient that has a balance due. The letter will detail the account and will also let the
​individual know that if the account remains unpaid after the 10th day of the month, the account will be suspended,
all buyer and seller privileges removed and all listings will be deleted.

Does Artyah allow international sellers?

Yes we do. Please follow all international laws and read our Terms and Conditions


Are there any monthly membership fees?

There are no monthly membership fees.


What do I need to do to create a shop?

Create an Artyah account (if you don’t already have one) choose a shop name, create a listing, set up your shop avatar, shop banners, add a little bio about yourself and then you're all set.

Can I have multiple Galleries on Artyah?

Duplicate galleries are prohibited on Artyah. A Duplicate gallery is one that lists the same or nearly indistinguishable types of items in more than one shop. Often using the same or nearly indistinguishable photographs, descriptions, pricing, and branding, which also can include a banner, shop avatar, or similar items represented in multiple galleries. Duplicate galleries can create confusion for our buyers and do not promote transparency about your business, and the items you make. In addition, duplicate galleries will distort search results, which can create an unfair advantage over other sellers and an unfavorable experience for buyers. For these reasons, you may not have duplicate galleries on Artyah. Due to our ability to run auctions our software will not allow  same person, two separate user ID's. This is to protect buyers from potential shills.  If you have multiple shops and sell different items in each one for example one is vintage and the other is handmade this is acceptable, but please email us for clarifications

How do I get paid?

Paypal is the current method of payment.

How does Artyah protect buyers and sellers?

Buyer, Seller Protection is a service that we offer for your peace of mind in the event of a transaction dispute. If you are unable to resolve a disagreement with a buyer or the transaction meets eligibility requirements, Artyah will help you resolve the issue. Those eligibility requiements are:

  • Transaction took place on Artyah
  • Buyer and Seller are registered users

What can I sell on Artyah?

Artyah provides a marketplace for artists, antique, vintage and suppliers of goods for handmade artisans to sell their handmade creations, vintage goods (at least 20 years old or older), and both handmade and non-handmade crafting supplies.

How can I recover a lost or forgotten password?

Send yourself a password reset via email.

  1. From the sign in page select the Forgot password link
  2. Enter your email address associated with your account and click the [Submit] button.
  3. Check your email inbox. If the email does not arrive in your inbox be sure to check your junk mail folder or spam filter.
  4. Click the reset link in that email.
  5. Choose a new password.

How do I change my password?

You can change your password at any time.

  1. From your logged in account, go to your "My Account" area.
  2. From the left hand menu, select "Account > Password."
  3. Enter your current password.
  4. Choose your new password.
  5. Save your changes by clicking the [Change Password] button.

Why am I not receiving any emails?

If you are not receiving expected site emails, please check the following:

  1. Check your junk mail folder or spam filter for the missing emails.
  2. Make sure that your email address, in your account settings, is entered correctly.
  3. Verify that your email client, such as Outlook, is not in “offline” mode.
  4. If you use a POP3 connection to retrieve your email, please verify that the emails were not downloaded to a different computer. If you are still not receiving our emails, please contact us.


How do I change the email address tied to my account?

You can change your email address by editing your account details within your “My Account” area.

Why do I get a warning message that my selected username is invalid?


  • Incorrect: MY Username
  • Correct: MY.Username
  • Correct: MY_Username


Why does it say that my email address is already in use?

If you get a notice that your email address is already in use when creating an account, which means that you have already created an account with us at some point. If you do not remember your login information, please enter your email address into the forgotten password form and you will be able to reset your password and log in to your account.
