A Slow Boat to China
Remember those days when chewing gum wrapper chains became the rage? This Origami is a one of a kind, 3D piece, which is the modern take on gum wrapper chains. This is an interpreted version (13" x 7 1/ 2 ") of a sampan boat. The Slow Boat to China leaves today. It does stand on its own. What was used for this cute little riverboat? Straws, pipe cleaners, hot glue (ouch), mardi gras beads, Korean and Chinese magazine pages snagged from my nail lady at salon. (Thanks Ann!) A couple of little glue gun burns and lots of patience. 😊 Once its gone, it's gone. (wish I could say that about the burns) Happy sailing!
