Unusual German Glass Beer Stein from the 1890s (give and take 10 years, 1880-1900) with porcelain inlay lid of a wild boar/pig and tree plant. Intricately painted in brown and green.
Beautiful relief glass cut with tiny air bubble enclosures, gorgeous piece. Base with detachment mark, smoothed out.
Internal lid mark of G. Sch. M. , short for Gesetzliche Schutz Marke meaning protected by law mark, and manufacturers symbol.

In very good condition, no damage to glass or lid. Lid has a slight forward movement of 1-2mm, does not impair functionality, suitable for use.
Highly unusual motif and elaborate, eye catching body, wonderful Stein all around and in such good condition.
Heavy piece, thick glass walls. Clean inside and out.

Measures 16.5cm tall (18.5cm up to lever), 9cm body diameter, no capacity given on Stein but looks to be 0.5l.
