This large soup bowl mug holds approximaely 24 oz of liquid! I glazed in jurassic brown thick to make an earthy green/brown that runs over the under layer of brown and brings out beautiful blues and almost purple hues. Like all my mugs these are wheel thrown with a thrown handle, the bottom is trimmed to leave a 1/4" foot and signed Aud Pottery. The handle is sturdy and smooth and so comfortable in your hand and won't get hot because it is hollow! The shape and material keep your soup hot for longer than the average bowl! The listing is for one single mug! I fire to cone 6 (meaning approximately 2132-2250 degrees F). Stick this mug in the microwave for 1-2 minutes and don't worry about it burning your hand off! The stoneware does not absorb heat like lower temperature clays. **LISTING IS FOR ONE 24 OZ SOUP MUG! Please keep in mind these hand thrown soup mugs will vary in size, shape, and color. Food, microwave, and dishwasher safe!!! To prolong the life of your mug, hand washing is recommended.
