The beaded geometric six-pinted star shapes on these dangle earrings are woven out of matte finish gray glass bugle beads and silver-colored glass seed beads. The gray beads are slightly bronzy in color. These stars have 24 faces, and a cube at their center. Their appearance changes from different angles. They dangle from the silver-tone fishhook earwires by silver-tone chain. Clear rubber earnuts help keep them from getting lost.
These earrings are affordable but they look dressy and would be great for holiday parties such as New Year's Eve and other festive events. Like all of my beadwork and polymer clay work, this is my original design.
Approximate dimensions: 3" (7.5 cm) from the top of the earwire to the bottom tip of the dangle. 2 1/4" (6 cm) from the bottom of the earwire to the bottom tip of the dangle. 1" (2.5 cm) across the dangle.
Care notes: The silver tone on the beads is a surface coating, so the beads should not be subjected to abrasion or chemicals--though generally that's good advice for any jewelry. Also, the beads are woven together with nylon thread, so the beaded portion of the earrings should not be cut or introduced to fire or similar high temperatures.
