Like all of my beadwork and polymer clay work, this is my original design. The beaded geometric star shapes on these dangle earrings are woven out of gold-plated glass bugle beads and amber-pink glass seed beads. These six-pointed stars have 24 faces, and a cube at their center. They look like different shapes from different angles. They dangle from the gold-plated fishhook earwires by gold-tone chain. Clear rubber earnuts help keep them from getting lost. These earrings are affordable but they look dressy and would be great for holiday parties such as New Year's Eve, or any other festive event.
Approximate dimensions: 3" (7.5 cm) from the top of the earwire to the bottom tip of the dangle. 2 1/4" (6 cm) from the bottom of the earwire to the bottom tip of the dangle. 1" (2.5 cm) across the dangle.
Care notes: The beads are woven together with nylon thread, so the beaded portion of the earrings should not be cut or introduced to fire or similar high temperatures. The gold-plated bugle beads should not be subjected to abrasion (though that's a good general rule for all jewelry).
