These are off-loom woven earrings; I used brick stitch and wove them at a curve to give them some added visual interest. I made these with nylon beading thread and glass seed beads, bugle beads, and triangle beads, with a faceted Czech pressed glass bead on the earwire of each one. The earwires are fishhook style, and are gold-filled. This is a fall color mix I like to use, with pink, amber, bronze, red-purple, olive green, and dark brown beads included.
The earrings may look soft and dangly, but they're firm, including the layered tiers of beads at the bottom of the earrings. The beaded portion of these earrings is 1 1/2" long (about 4 cm), and from the top of the earwire to the bottom of the earrings they are about 2" long (5 cm). They are about 3/4" (2 cm) across at the widest point.
