This super soft scarf of 100% baby alpaca yarn is the perfect defense against icy winter winds. The chunky yarn is hand knit in a thick stitch pattern which looks a bit like quilting. The back side, shown in the 3rd photo, has a nice pattern of its own. The smooth edges are well finished, not bumpy, like on so many hand knit scarves.
I would describe the color as cinnamon brown.
If you would like this scarf in a different color, just let me know.
Did you know that alpaca is
much warmer than wool,
much softer than wool,
lighter than wool,
stronger than wool
resists pilling and abrading,
and alpacas are so darn cute!
Item 103 - Chunky Alpaca Scarf
Fiber - 100% Baby Alpaca from Peru
Color - Cinnamon brown (dark copper)
Size - 6” x 54”
Care - Hand wash, cold water, spread flat and pat into shape to dry An ironing board works well for drying knit scarves. Alpaca does look awful when wet but it will fluff right up when it dries.
