A pretty 19th century Goofus Glass pin with multicolor raised flowers painted in red, pink, burgundy and silvery blue, with gold colored leaves. The glass covering the flowers is faceted around the edge, and secured with 4 long prongs. The setting is pressed brass which had a silver finish, most of which has worn off but is still visible in the recessed parts of the brass frame, giving it a nice 2-tone effect.
The brooch is 1-1/2" wide, with the pin stem extending a little past the edge. The back is brass with some silver remaining in spots. A beautiful piece, and in great shape.
