This small duck figurine can be seen on page 111 of Jack Chipman's California Pottary 2nd Edition book. It identifies this vintage cutie as an unmarked Freeman-McFarlin piece in "fine arts" glaze treatment. It is a light tan color, with a darker tan outlining the feathers and features, while it's bill is what I would call a khaki or olive color.
This charming hand painted figure of a duck is about 4 3/4" long and nearly the same in height. It is unmarked and in wonderful vintage condition with no issues. Nice example of mid century art and would blend well in any earth tone decor.
