Large sized polished gems of genuine purple amethyst are featured in this handsome pair of vintage grape cluster Art Deco earrings by Far Fan, circa 1940's.
The Mexican novelty earrings are handwrought from sterling silver in a stylized design of grape leaves with small cluster of fruit at the base. They have hand stamped or incised detailing, and are bezel set with generously sized deep purple amethyst cabs measuring approximately 13mm in size.
The earrings themselves measure 1&1/8 inches wide at their widest point by 1&11/16 inches top to bottom, are screwbacks, weigh 12.6 grams combined, and are stamped “Far Fan”, “Hecho en Mexico DF”, and “925”.
Ideal for Bacchus lovers and wine aficionados.
