I found this little antique basket in A 6th Pattern Glass Book by Kamm in Plate 35 where it is identified as US Regal by U.S. Glass company in an ad dated 1906. Kamm describes the pattern as "a very elaborate imitation cut glass design". This little EAPG beauty catches the light nicely on it's own, but would also be lovely as a candy dish, filled with potpourri or colorful soaps, not to mention a lovely Easter basket.
This early American pressed glass basket is 4" tall and about 5 1/2" long. It is in wonderful vintage condition with no chips, cracks or flea bites and appears to have been seldom used.
