Description

Fenton antique carnival glass bowl with ruffled open edge in the marigold Basketweave pattern which is also known as Fenton's Basket and I believe is their # 1092.  It was introduced in 1911 and production continued until 1922.  Other sources date this from 1921 to 1937, but in either case this little vintage beauty is nearing it's 100 year mark and is simply gorgeous.  Just to confuse us all further, some sources use Basket Weave as the pattern name.

The top edge has been evenly crimped and it is 6 1/2" across and about 3" high.  It is in wonderful vintage condition with no chips, cracks or scratches and has great marigold iridescent color, with that wonderful mellow sheen that old carnival glass has.  There is a rather large straw mark on the inside bottom, but it left the factory that way.
