➦ This Piece is Immaculate, made of 100-Percent High Quality Wool Flannel with absolutely no signs of age including no moth bites, holes or nibbles, no mildew or mold or other storage odors, Stored Judiciously all these years. Has Interior Flap (as shown in Second Photos) which fastens with Three Interior Buttons and Two Buttons under back of Collar (as shown in Fourth Photo). Both White and African-American women were employed making shirts at the Philadelphia Quarter Master Depot, joining together in the war effort. The Philadelphia Quarter Master Depot (formerly the Schuylkill Arsenal) was built in 1800 and also outfitted the Lewis and Clark Expedition.
