This is a lovely brass 1960s cigarette case obviously for a lady. The face is covered in a lightly padded silk like printed fabric of a french woman on a swing. Probably made for Virginia Slim cigarettes of the "You've come a long way, baby" fame. It measures 3" x 4" x 3/8" deep . The previous owner had replaced the interior with pink paper (glued in and coming up a bit) which can be changed easily. It closes tightly and is slim enough to tuck into most purses as a business card or money holder. Also nice to leave casually displayed on a bedroom vanity too. In really nice condition. It is lightly engraved with an owner's name and California address on the back.
