These merino wool mittens are a shade of brown like toast or a tawny lion’s mane. The yarn, from Peru, is a single ply merino, slightly thick and thin, and is so very, very soft.
These mittens sport a single line gusset which I think looks very neat. There is even a tiny gusset where the thumb joins the palm. These innovations make the mittens fit your hands better.
Another feature is the extra long cuff, about 4” long. No cold wind will reach your arms while wearing these. Notice how the cuff pattern grows right into the main pattern on the back of the mitten.
These fit a woman’s size small or medium hands. The cables allow for stretch in the width so they will fit most women.
Want them in a different color or larger? Let me know.
Not the perfect pair for you? I have lots of mittens in other styles and colors in my gallery.
