Absolutely stunning spray sculpture from the 1970s in the style of Jere. It is made of brass rods that form an urchin design and is weighted in a heavy plaster base with an iconic spaghetti finish in dark brown and off white. This piece does not form a half dome like so many others from the era, it is designed in a fan shape that 'leans' to each side at the bottom. A fabulous design for smaller spaces.
It stands an just over 15" tall by 21" across at the widest part
The base measures approximately 6" in diameter by 2.5" high
Condition: Good Vintage, the base has a few chips (see photo) that could easily be painted to hide them, as they are not deep chips. Very slight oxidation on some rods commensurate with age. No broken welds.
