The L. G. Wright Glass Company book by Measell shows this LG Wright toothpick holder in amber glass on page 149 . It was produced in the early 1960s and amber is one of the five colors shown in the book. It is a light amber, tending more to the yellow than brown and catches the light nicely. I took many pictures and was unable to capture the true color, although the last one is closest.
It is a fun vintage collectible and can have many uses. It can be used on your desk to hold paper clips or rubber bands, on a window sill to catch the light, in the vanity area to hold your q tips, or best of all, just because you collect tooth picks and enjoy grouping them around your home. These little guys also make great gifts for teacher or office co-workers.
This amber pressed glass toothpick is 2 1/2" high and in great vintage condition with no chips, cracks or flea bites.
