Wine and dine the evening away is this elegant vintage cocktail dress with ornate appliqué and shimmering beads by Jack Bryan, circa 1960's.
The finely constructed mid-century dress is made with multiple layers of a semi-sheer black chiffon, with scooped neckline and decorative beaded bodice of clear luminescent bugle beads hand sewn over a maple brown silk with foliate appliqué -- covering both the front and back.
The dress also has long sheer sleeves with elastic cuffs, fitted waist with bow tie piping, zippered back, a double layered flouncy skirt of chiffon over taffeta, and a single label for “Jack Bryan”, “Designed by Dupuis”.
* Please note that there are two small holes on the underside of the left sleeve (see close-up pic), but hidden when worn, and doesn’t detract.
Otherwise, the dress is in very good condition -- vibrant and with all beading intact.
Please note measurements as follows and be sure to allow for ease.
Bust – 37 inches
Waist – 26 inches
Hips – Open
