Stunningly beautiful 1950s or late 1940s wedding gown in an ivory damask. It features a long attached train; covered buttons up the front bodice and the wrists; a cascade of matching fabric at back of waist; beautifully pieced bodice; high minimalist collar; pinked seams; gauntlet wrists; slight shoulder pads.; 46" train.
Please Note: there are large areas of water marks on the train and on part of the hemline. These look like they would lift out with dry cleaning (photo is an example but not the only area). There are perspiration stains under the arms which will lighten with dry cleaning but probably not come out completely.
Measurements are taken flat and are as follows:
Bust: 17" Waist: 13" Hip: open Length: 57" front to approximately 103" back train
Shoulder to Shoulder: just under 15.5" Sleeve: 23.5" from shoulder to end of point
Size Tag: 12 (vintage sizing) would be a modern 4 to 6
Pinned on mannequin: no, her measurements are 33/24/34 and it fits her with just a smidgen to spare.
Condition: Fair to Good Vintage, the dress is structurally sound but there are large water spots on the bottom of the train and hemline; perspiration stains under the arms; missing one button.
