This is a set of 4 porcelain Japan Moriage Nippon pieces. Sugar bowl (with lid), small creamer, salt and pepper.
Beautiful raised slip detailing handles and rim. Cherry blossoms (?) with olive green leaves and trim decorate all pieces. Note the 3 'feet' on the creamer. Marked with a cherry blossom, "Hand Painted Nippon" - in blue. All pieces are in original used vintage condition. This was possibly not a high priced set at the time and there are folds, dimples, a few rough areas and tiny paint splashes. One cork appears to be stuck and soaking in warm water will probably remove it when the salt dissolves. I can see no flea bites or chips. Very pretty and priced very reasonably. Information from a Nippon marks site says - “Cherry Blossom Hand Painted Nippon”, found in blue, green & magenta. No known manufacturing date(s).
