This vintage Asian/Oriental dress is made of a beautiful red floral print silk. It closes up the right side with an 11 1/2" zipper and then snaps at an angle up to the mandarin collar. Silk piping in the darker red has been used to edge the bodice opening, the collar, each cuff and the bottom of the dress. There are two snaps at each cuff. The side seams are slit up 4" from the bottom. The whole dress is lined in a felt-backed lining that matches the lighter red in the silk. There are a couple of spots in the silk along the bottom that have worn through just above the piping (see photo). This could easily be fixed by turning the hem up 1/4" to 1/2". Otherwise, this dress is in great condition.
