Description

Antique crystal nappy or bowl by Imperial Glass #212 NUCUT, with a star and fan pattern. It can be used as a candy bowl, filled with potpourri or serve a favorite sauce in it.  Works from the coffee table for nuts to the dinning table piled high with olives and all spaces in between.

The NUCUT imitation cut glass trademark was used between 1911 and 1932.   It's fun to read some of the old ads for NUCUT, remembering that this pressed glassware was marketed towards those that couldn't afford the real cut glass of Libbey and others.

This beauty is nearly 6" across and stands about 2" high. The only damage is to the top edge, with one point missing, and a few other rough places.  Remember this is probably over a 100 years old now, and it's pretty amazing that it survived this long.
