I started selling antiques in the 1980's and due to purchasing boxes of jewelry which needed repair, I taught myself, (through trial and error), how to string beads and started designing jewelry using antique, vintage beads combined with new precious and semi-precious stones. I loved doing it and for a time did beading repair for local antique vendors and shops in California as well as supplying movie industry costume purchasers with my original designs. I stopped selling antiques, but never stopped creating and selling my handmade jewelry. Prior to posting my handmade items here on Artyah, I will be posting beading supplies, etc, for other designers. (I would have to live until the age of 135 to use all of the beads I have collected over the years, so I am purging. lol.) I will also be posting items which belonged to my mother who recently passed away at the age of 97 in December, 2016. She was a collector of many different things and she kept everything.
I describe my jewelry as being beautiful and durable jewelry, and I use quality findings. I will strive to make your shopping experience in my shop a pleasant one. I sell to the United States and select countries.
Postage costs will vary based upon country of buyer and/or based upon the weight of the item. I will combine shipping for jewelry only, and only if I am notified prior to payment of for any of the items. I do not offer returns,so please ask any and all questions prior to purchase. I will do my best to make sure that you make an informed decision. Although I am not an expert as to antiques and collectibles, please be assured that I have carefully researched an item, and will always let you know if there is something of which I am not sure. And, as the majority of antiques and collectibles belonged to my mother, I can vouch for the era as I grew up with all of the items which I am posting for sale.
Please feel free tocontact me with any questions. Happy shopping!
