This pair of vintage Pfaltzgraff salt & pepper shakers is in Pfaltzgraff’s classic Yorktowne pattern. It holds the well-known federal blue pattern on gray stoneware.
One shaker is marked with an “S” for salt & the other “P” for pepper. No guessing which one is which when using this set!
Each shaker has 3 holes and their original stoppers. The holes are a bit large in size, so go a bit easy until you get used to how they “perform”.
The shakers measure 3 3/4" x 2" (9.5 cm x 5.08 cm)
Neither shaker holds any markings.
This salt & pepper set is in excellent condition. There are no chips, cracks, crazing or any other signs of visible wear. There is minimal shelf wear on the bottoms.
The Pfaltzgraff Company was founded in York, PA in 1911. It is the name of the town that inspired the unforgettable pattern of Yorktowne back in 1967.
Collectors of Pfaltzgraff pottery would love to add these salt & pepper shakers to their Yorktowne collection.
Thank you for stopping in. Have a terrific day!
