Dark red zigzag bracelet, made with blood red seed beads and a central line of beautiful red and gold swiss cross beads interspersed with gold bicones. Two rows of diagonal peyote edged in tiny black picots creates a sort of double chevron bracelet pattern. A toggle bracelet, bar at one end and loop at the other, made in matching beads for a cohesive look. A very bold bracelet.
This is a flat peyote bracelet, a strong and flexible beadweaving pattern that lays flat on the wrist. Hundreds of dark red seed beads are woven by hand, up and down, back and forth, into this gorgeous zig zag pattern. The edges have tiny black seed bead accents, and each point is tipped in a black picot trio. The two peyote bands are connected at the center by a string of gold bicones, red and gold swiss crosses, and more black seed beads.
The matching beaded toggle clasp is created with St. Petersburg and peyote stitches. Toggle bar in red, banded with black ends and gold bicones at each tip. The loop in swirls of red with black tips. This toggle clasp is easy to get on and off, while being very strong and secure.
The beadweaving here is quite thin - a single seed bead's thickness - so it lays very flat. It's also quite flexible. Overall very comfortable to wear.
Sizing: The total length of this bracelet, laying flat, is 8 inches (20.5 cm). When closed it is closer to 7.5" (19 cm). This is a good size for wrists around 6.5-7" (16.5-17.75 cm). My wrist in picture 5 is 6.5", a comfortably loose fit that does come down onto the base of the hand.
The bracelet is about 1 5/8" wide, around 4 cm, including the black tips.
This piece is not adjustable, but I can make this style in many other sizes and colors to suit you!
