This unique Southwestern Pottery Embroidery Wood Art Western Wall Decor combines the warmth of wood with the raised texture of 11 different thread colors and 28,023 stitches. The design was machine embroidered into a sheet of balsa wood, then cut and mounted on an oak stained 6-3/4” wide x 1” plaque. The black leather braided trim was added before a clear protective, non-yellowing acrylic matte finish was applied. A brass hanger is attached to the backside making it ready for hanging.
Balsa Wood Embroidery is very uncommon because it’s a difficult and challenging medium to work with, resulting in an exclusive one-of-kind display for any home decor or gift idea for all special occasions. WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW: Given the nature of wood products, the shading and grain on both the balsa wood and plaque varies and no two pieces are the same.
