Antique Art Nouveau circa late 1800's glass micro beaded purse . Frame is a gorgeous repousse metal filigree with a pair of cherubs playing flutes at the top under the kiss clasp. Pattern from the frame as well as the purse is identical on both sides. Although I was unable to find a mark or signature, it looks as though to be either German or Italian made, but I can't confirm.
Purse hangs 15" from chain to base. The frame measures 7" wide and the purse is 10" from top of clasps to base.
Condition : Good to fair antique condition with some missing beads, silk liner is intact but stained as well as a section in the bottom has come un-stitched, and there is section detached from one of the hinges as shown in last photo. It does not stay shut when held upright. Possibly needs adjusting? Still a stunning antique Victorian fashion find! Purse is selling as found and is priced accordingly.
