ITEM # 121601 (Box-3)
This is a circa 1950's-60's black glass micro beaded and embroidered needlepoint purse. Purse has embroidery of two large roses in shades of burgandy to a light pink, three rose buds , a yellow flower with yellow bud and a spray of several shades of green to brown leaves on both front and back. Inside has black satin lining with two pockets, one open and the other zippered.
Overall near mint vintage condition with typical wear due to age and handling. I find no issues or missing beads on this bag. The floral embroiderey is very nice bright and clean on both sides. The gold metal frame is in very good condtion with a couple of tiny pits seen only upon close inspection. The purse closes with a spring flap, which works well. The inside black satin is clean and intact. There are several labels inside. One small on the side "Made in Hong Kong" and one large on both sides "Specially made for Kishu's East-West Fashions PO Box 13532 Hong Kong". The labels show wear and fading.
Purse frame measures 10" at it's widest and is 6 1/2" tall, not including the strap. It measures 12" on the drop with the strap.
