The Ring Band pattern was introduced by Heisey in 1898, their # 310 Line. They called their custard glass Ivorina Verde, which is a pale yellow color, achieved by using uranium salts. There is a large diamond H mark on the underside. I believe this would be called a berry bowl and was part of a set.
This little nappy, or berry bowl with its ring band design and scalloped edges is 4 1/2" across, 2" tall and in great vintage condition, with no chips or cracks. The gold is pretty worn, but still visible and the hand painted floral design shows signs of wear also. This custard glass bowl has a lot of "fire" when held to the light, and is slightly translucent. It is over 100 years old.
This beautiful old collectible glassware piece would add interest to any room's décor and I can picture it filled with decorative soaps or potpourri in the guest bathroom as well.
