Vintage signed Coro Pegasus green art glass and chrysolite rhinestone parure that is very rarely seen!
Rare parure of copper foiled art glass oval cabachons accented with light and dark green square cut rhinestones. Set atop a double filigree separated by side supports. Extremely well made with very high quality construction!
1. Consists of a lariat style twisted rope link necklace 32" long, each end finished with one of the fabulous settings. Little to no wear to the filigree settings. The seafoam green opalescent glass stone has tiny bubbles & a wavy edge from the making.
2. The bracelet 7.5" long x 1 3/4" wide alternating these gorgeous settings. And is signed with Coro in rectangle with Pegasus on the back side of the fold over clasp.
3. Two pair of earrings, each set matches one of the necklace drops. Sized at just under 1.50" squared and nearly 3/4" high on clip backs. There is a circular lobe support under the clip. Neither of these two pair are signed.
This should date to 1955 or little later This is purported to be an Adolf Katz design, however, Katz was the man in charge of choosing the designs and signed the patent app. paperwork,(he was not the designer), which is why so many books offer a design as his!
This set is in overall beautiful vintage condition verging on, but not quite perfect.
