A Stag drinking horn style beer mug designed for Fans of my favorite tv series, House Baratheon, or as Renaissance/Fantasy Festival Costuming. It is a sculpture you can drink from!  Made to be used, with Food Safe Glazes and sturdy stoneware clay.

This original design, fantasy art mug was sculpted and a mold was cast for reproduction by slip casting -- all by the artist, Jane Chischilly. Add style to your Cosplay costume, RPG gear or Renaissance Festival attire with this fantastic mug. This Deer Mug is a great one for Gamers, Renaissance and Fantasy Festival enthusiasts, Outdoorsmen or anyone who loves good design and appreciates quality craftsmanship!

My work has been Featured in HBO Compendium -

This drinking horn style mug was inspired by the Rhytons of ancient Greece which were frequently made in the shape of animals' heads.  Many were "bottom's up cups" -- set on the rim when empty.  I added a tripod feature so that the cup can be set down after "only" the first 1/3 of the drink is finished.
