Description

The most unusual Pendant I have ever seen. Given to me years ago in a box of discarded jewelry by a dear friend, I have never listed these simply because I did not know what they were. A wonderful person let me know that the seed is West indian locust, Hymenaea courbaril.  They are salvadorean, they are called Copinol and are typical from a town named La Palma

As you can see they are in vibrant shades of Orange, Red, Yellow, Green and Black.
Looks like a village scene with a vibrant sun and farmlands.

There is NOTHING LIKE THEM out there that I can see.

Please see the photo for exact size. The back is polished and one would almost think it was a very small chestnut when viewed from that size. Very unique and going by the age of my late friend I am dating this in the 50's. When she was in her early 20's. Please ask questions before purchasing. Please see other listing for set of matching earrings. Please let me know if you want the matching earrings and I will fix the listing to incorporate both.
