A lovely example of Victorian pressed glass creamer milk jug with hobnail and gadroon pattern (pattern number 211) by Davidson Glass, Gateshead, Tyne and Wear, England - c 1885.
The Davidson Trade Mark is embossed on the base. A lion rising from a crown.
CONDITION: An antique used item in wonderful condition - no chips, cracks or nibbles. You may see the odd 'straw' mark within the glass which is a common occurrence in pressed glass - these are not cracks or scratches. Please study photographs.
Height to top of lip: Approx. 4 3/4" (12.1 cms)
Width from handle to lip: Approx. 4 3/4" (12.1 cms)

The George Davidson & Co. Teams Glass Works, Gateshead, Tyne and Wear, England, was one of the longest running glass works in the North East of England. It was founded in 1867 and finally closed in 1987 after several changes of ownership.
