Lovely vintage fine bone china lidded Trinket Pot in the floral pattern known as Cottage Garden, by Aynsley China, England c 1985+
CONDITION: A vintage used item in first class condition - no chips, cracks or crazing. Please study photographs.
Pot including Lid: approx. 4" (10.2 cms) in width and 2" (5.1 cms) in height.
The back stamp reads: EST. 1775, AYNSLEY, MADE IN ENGLAND, FINE ENGLISH BONE CHINA, COTTAGE GARDEN, PORTRAYAL OF THE FLORA OF AN ENGLISH COTTAGE GARDEN.
A little information:
Aynsley China was founded in 1775 by John Aynsley in Lane End, Longton, Stoke-on-Trent Staffordshire. In 1861 his grandson John Aynsley built the historic Portland Works on Sutherland Road, Longton. The company is one of the last remaining manufacturers of bone china in Stoke-on-Trent.
