Superb vintage copper lustre lidded sugar bowl with side handles by Gibson & Sons of Burslem, Staffordshire, England. The maker's stamp on the base of the sugar bowl appears to have been used from around 1912 up to the 1930's and, therefore a little difficult to pinpoint the exact age.
CONDITION: A vintage used item in good condition for its age - no chips, cracks or crazing, but noting just small scratch marks here and there from use. The finish is so smooth and shiny (capturing half my dining room in its reflection - sorry!) - A fabulous little piece of history. Please study photographs.
Width of Bowl: approx. 4" (10.2 cms)
Width from handle to handle: 6" (15.2 cms)
Height to top of bowl rim: 2 3/4" (7.0 cms)
The Maker mark reads: G & S Ltd, BURSLEM, MADE IN ENGLAND.
