Original drawing Miccosukee Indians of Florida dated 1980, and signed, is ready to purchase.
This is a striking image of a Miccosukee Indian Mother and child.
The Miccosukee Indians are still located in Southern Florida the Everglades National Park area on the Tamiami Indian Reserve.
I am not really sure exactly how this drawing was rendered.
It could be ink or it could be black paint.
If you look closely, you can see an indented impression of the artwork, and the drawing was done over this impression.
You can feel the raised ink or paint with your fingers.
So I do not know what this is called in the art world.
The paper is not white any more.
I included a photo of the correct coloring, but in getting close photos, the paper color always turned white.
The image has some foxing (yellowish marks around the figures), but not on the figures.
The artists name is signed DRamos and has the date 1980.
The artwork measures 11" x 14".
This piece would be an interesting accent in any room or a nice addition to a collection.
Colors may vary on individual computer screens and PHOTOS MAY BE LARGER THAN THE ORIGINAL ARTWORK IN ORDER TO SHOW DETAIL.
Thanks for looking!
