Girl doll music box from the Elvis movie BLUE HAWAII, revolving, 1961 Lanakila.
It is in its original box.
She is a revolving music box made by Lanakila Crafts in Honolulu Hawaii.
It looks like she's never been detached from the box, so I have not tried the tune
She is in a crisp, long, cotton dress that is accented with a ruffle at the bottom of the skirt and sleeves.
Her necklace is made of real seeds, so is the trim on the top of her hat...really interesting!
er dress is red and white. I couldn't quite capture the red, and it looks a little orange in the photos.
She has the original tag attached to her arm 'Blue Hawaii'.
She is made of a soft type of plastic, and has a beautiful face.
It measures about 8 1/2" high, and her feet are glued to the base.
She is in lovely condition, with just a bit of yellowing on the ruffle on her skirt, and on the top of her hat.
The back of the box is marked LANAKILA CRAFTS HONOLULU, HAWAII 96817.
The base of the box says REVOLVING MUSIC BOX.
The front of the plastic has a pink, tropical flower with LEPEKA REVOLVING MUSIC BOX printed on it.
The box is showing its age. It is not torn or broken, but it, and the plastic has yellowed. There is some old tape still on it, and a little bit of bending.
This would be a nice addition to a collection or good for anyone to have, display.
