Boy and horse bisque figurine / planter, Victorian decor, antique horse and groom.
The piece is a bisque porcelain, and our young boy is in control of this lively horse.
The boy is wearing a pink jacket, orange sweater, blue pantaloons and a black cap.
It looks like he had gold shoes at one time, but most is worn off.
There is a fence between the horse and the boy.
he back has a place to hold greenery.
It measures 6" high and 4 1/4" across.
There is some paint loss on the black cap.
There is a small slash in the porcelain under the rear leg of the horse. This is original to the piece.
The back is incised with numbers that look like 3588.
This would be a nice addition to a collection or good for anyone to have and display.
This piece has a bit of weight to it, and not flimsy.
Colors may vary on individual computers, and photos may be larger than the original item in order to show detail.
Thanks for looking!
