WETLANDS BIRDS ON FIRST DAY COVER JANUARY 1980
GREAT BRITAIN YELLOW WAGTAIL, MOORHEN, DIPPER AND KINGFISHER
The four species of birds illustrated on this set of stamps are all dependent on wetland habitat and include the Yellow Wagtail, the Moorhen, the Dipper and the Kingfisher. They are Scott’s Numbers 884-887 and were issued January 16 1980. The stamps are tied to the cover with a charming swan cancel. Included in the cover is an information card regarding these birds and the stamps.
The cover is approximately 8 ½” x 4 ¾” in size and is clean with good colours and in good overall condition making it a wonderful addition to any collection. Please have a look at the scans and feel free to ask any questions you might have. (I have masked the name and address with a little post-it note which I shall remove when mailing this) Thanks for stopping by TheOldBarnDoor.
