These vintage footed wine glasses by Anchor Hocking in Royal Ruby red were made from 1938 into the 1960s. It is really interesting to note how our wine consumption has changed in the last 70 years! Now we would probably use this size for juice or a cocktail, although I am seeing it listed as a shot glass also. This mid century red glassware has been a standard for decades and most homes will have at least a piece or two of it and bring it out for Christmas, Valentine's day or the 4th of July.
These wines stand 3 3/8 " tall, hold about 2 1/2 ounces and are in great vintage condition with no chips, dings or stains. This stemware is not only very serviceable but really make a holiday table come alive with the striking ruby red color. The price is for the set of four. I have 2 more that are available if you are interested. One is in great condition, the other has a no-see chip on underside of foot.
Please contact me with your zip code for a more exact shipping cost, as the amount varies considerably at this weight. It's a 7.20 to 12.75 range, depending on if you live on the East Coast, or near me. Also, depending on how far away you live, it is sometimes less expensive to split into 2 first class boxes, although the shipping quoted is priority mail at the greatest distance.
