This beautifully carved urn is made with a dark brown stoneware clay and fired in an electric kiln to about 2200F. The exterior is glazed with a satin slate blue glaze. This jar is great as a decorative piece. It is also a good place to store keepsakes. The lovely form of this urn also made it suitable as a medium size cremation urn.
The dimension of the jar is 9 inches tall (with lid) by 5.5 inches wide. The capacity is: 6 cups, approximately 85 cubic inches.
