Wim Mühlendyck Pitcher from ~1940.
Mühlendyck, was born in 1905 in Porz near Cologne. He attended the Staatliche Ceramics Fachschule in 1926 – 27. 
His ceramic workshop: Mühlendyck, in Hoehr-Grenzhausen, Germany, was founded in 1931 where he collaborated in techniques with Elfriede Balzar-Kopp until the 1970’s.
He lived to be 81. He died in 1986 in the town of Höhr Grenzhausen.

His artist signature is a constellation of the letters in his first 
name, W I M, also known as 'the Butterfly', which is present on the Jug's base together with the model number.
In like new condition with no chips, breaks or hairline fractures, marvellous collectors item, well fitting, non engraved lid, beautiful glazing technique.

Measuring approx. 19 cm high with a 16 cm belly diameter
