PERFECT HOLIDAY DÉCOR ACCENT
REAL ACORN TOPS WITH FELTED WOOL ACORNS
IN RED AND WHITE
These delightful felted wool acorns are sure to delight your guests and provide you with a unique decorating touch to your holiday décor. I have used real acorn tops harvested from the ground on my own property and affixed a felted wool ball to complete the look.
This set is presented in a mixture of red and white, perfect for the Christmas season or year-round use. I have packed them up in a small preserving jar (jam sized), complete with a plastic screw lid for easy storage and attractively packaged for gift giving including a tag. This size jar will likely contain anywhere between 25-30 acorns (singles and/or doubles). While most of the acorns are approximately 1” in size, as in nature you will find some smaller and larger ones.
SO WHAT THE HECK DO I DO WITH THEM?
These are the perfect bowl filler accent (see the last scan) – add some pinecones and leaves and sprinkle in the acorns. Or fill a bowl with your favorite potpourri and sprinkle the acorns in. If you are handy you could attach a small screw eye, add thread and use them as package decorations or hang them on the tree. If all of this sounds like too much work just sprinkle them along your holiday table or into a bowl – the choice is yours.
ACORN AND OAK SYMBOLISM:
The acorn is a symbol of strength and power. In the fall, these tiny yet hardy little nuggets drop from the oak trees to land on the ground. Most will be eaten by passing wildlife, but a few will survive to form a new tree in the spring. Because the acorn only appears on a fully mature oak, it is often considered a symbol of the patience needed to attain goals over long periods of time. It represents perseverance and hard work.
This jar of acorns will be boxed for shipping and must go as a parcel. Please note I am a Canadian seller and this will ship from Canada. All taxes, tariffs and duty are the responsibility of the purchaser. I will refund any postage overage of $2 or more automatically.
