I love working with glass. I started about 18 years ago first learning all the techniques of stained glass. During that time fusing was being introduced to the art world of glass. There's something magical about kiln forming glass whether it's a small piece of jewelry or a large slumped plate - it's an art that transforms into something new with the intense heat and gravity and I just love experimenting with it. I have two kilns - a small one for jewelry and the other large one is programmed so I can set a certain fusing schedule. I'm always anxious to open the kiln, once cooled and see the end result.
