Welcome to my shop. About 2 years ago, I began to make Japanese-type ornaments for Christmas, Bridal, Birthdays, and other special occasions. What I create is called kimekomi, which is Japanese meaning “to tuck in.” A design is drawn on a polystyrene ball, a craft knife used to cut the lines, and fabric is “tucked” into the cuts. It is then decorated with various types of trims, ribbon, silk flowers, bead caps, etc. Time to create the ornaments takes approximately 6 hours up to more than 12 hours, depending on the intricacy of designs
